Top tips for completing the year-end form

  1. If you've paid for something in the 2024–25 financial year and used it during that year, it’s unlikely you’ll need to complete a year-end form. However, if you have paid for goods or services that are being delivered or used in 2025–26, you may need to tell us to move or split the cost across both financial years using the form.

  2. You must fill in all the required fields in the ‘Goods and Services’ tab, including the MP's name, your name, and the submission date. If information is missing, we will have to send the form back.

  3. Only include direct suppliers on your year-end form if the order was placed in one financial year but received in the next. For example, if you ordered an item on 28 March, but it arrived on 2 April. You do not need to list orders from Banner on your year-end form.

  4. If IPSA pays your rent directly, you do not need to include it on your year-end form, as these will be prorated based on your rent payment dates.

  5. Before submitting your year-end form, check the ‘Budgets’ tab to ensure all costs are allocated to the correct budget.

Bonus tip: Your March payment card lines are now available to reconcile, including costs incurred on or before March 31, 2025. Please ensure that these are completed by 11:59pm on April 25, as part of the year-end process.
