IPSA payment cards for MPs

IPSA has appointed Lloyds Banking Group as the new supplier of MPs’ payment cards. The current contract with Barclaycard will cease on 2 June 2026 and your current payment card will be deactivated. New Lloyds card will be issued to all existing cardholders.

MPs are asked to collect their new payment cards in person from 13 May

IPSA will be available in person in Portcullis House from 13-20 May for you to collect your card. For security purposes, you must collect the card yourself.

Payment card rollout will be phased

Our new relationship with Lloyds means we can offer you more support. Over the next few months, we will add features including the ability to set up direct debits and make bank transfers, and a more interactive app which enables you to reconcile and attach receipts on the go. 

For now, to minimise disruption, we are simply replacing your cards on a like-for-like basis.
